The amazing Keri Eisenbeis, who kicked off our March, started a Fly It Forward ripple and sponsored Isabel Dewey.  Here’s what Keri had to say about her friend:  “When I first met Isabel, I was immediately impressed by her.  I was struck by her life experience as the youngest of seven children, from parents of Cuban immigrants.  Isabel is a ‘up by your bootstraps’ type of person—self-made, world-traveled, and keenly aware of the struggles and opportunities of all strata of society.  Having navigated myriad barriers, she can quickly see past obstacles that might stop others. Isabel is spirited and forthright, with insatiable energy and a contagious drive that motivates everyone around her.”  Pretty inspiring, right?  Let’s get to know Isabel.

1. Tell us in a few sentences what you do. And why you do it.
I am responsible for the people of ReliaQuest, a cyber security software as a service company headquartered in Tampa. ReliaQuest unifies security tools for the Fortune 1000 and allows our customers to detect and respond to cyber threats faster.

4. My best business advice is….
Find a core group of women that hold your values and learn from and support. Driven women can sometimes feel a bit isolated. I never do because of the women I met through JLT.

5. My professional goal for 2021 is…
To continue to grow ReliaQuest and ensure that we are hiring the right people and training our employees so they can best serve our customers. We are in hyper growth and expanding globally, which requires all of us to work together to expand the organization and solve one of the most pressing problems for large enterprises.

6. Supporting women in business is now more critical than ever. How can our community best support you?
I feel a sense of responsibility to help other women and support them up the ladder. Helping women enter the world of cybersecurity is a priority for ReliaQuest. I am fortunate enough to be in senior leadership role. I wouldn’t have gotten here without the support of both men and women. I owe it to the women I work with to represent professionalism, helpfulness, and be a role model.

More from Keri: “The thread that weaves through all of Isabel’s endeavors—professional, service, and even as a parent—is a theme of tenacity and thoughtfulness.  As evidenced from her childhood, she has had to work hard to achieve her goals. Nothing has been given to her. She brings this life experience to her career, while not forgetting her sense of duty to contribute back.”  We agree, Keri, and we love that Isabel has found a passion helping other women and supporting them up the ladder at her company.  In true See Her Soar fashion, she climbs with one hand and reaches back with the other. Thanks for soaring with us, Isabel!
