Joycelyn Wells is a modern-day Renaissance woman. She is CEO of where they bring new authors to print and lift up small business owners every day, and she is also a published author and host of the Joy Exposed Podcast. Through, each platform of her business, it is Joycelyn’s goal to lead others to freedom, that intrinsic voice that urges us to move along our path to being of purpose within the universe. Which sounds amazing!  Let’s get to know Joycelyn.

1. Tell us in a few sentences what you do. And why you do it.
I meet people where they are. After years of living in the noise (depression, abuse, sadness, blah), I am free. I have been gifted with some amazing qualities and I’m diligently working on the best way to share what I have with others. Today, my company motto is, “Leading folks to freedom, one publication at a time.” Tomorrow that may change but right now, millions of people are struggling with trying to just maintain and if the pandemic has taught us anything, we have learned that life is for the living. So, what do I do? I lead people to freedom. Why do I do it? Because I can.

3. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is…
I ask Alexa to “play meditation radio on Joycelyn’s Pandora,” bathroom, then onto my yoga mat.

4. My best business advice is….
Business plans are alive and breathing. And, well, so are you. And since the ideas come to you, they will continue to live and breathe because of you.

5. My professional goal for 2021 is…
My goal is to sign five new clients a month. I have two types of clients: authors and small business owners (SBO). The goal is to sign and publish a new author while extending a 12-mo relationship of exposure and marketing; while, the SBO would enter a relationship inclusive of small business solutions and brand development (website, marketing and exposure) for 12-months.

6. Supporting women in business is now more critical than ever. How can our community best support you?
Referrals are the key to our growth. We love SBO who are finding their way!
