Does anyone else really struggle to call their former teachers (and this applies to your kids’ teachers) by their first names, or is it just me? Today I am going to be brave and introduce you to Sylvia (even though I still really feel the need to call her Mrs. Karalis!), whose career path has taken her from the skies to the classroom to the home. In a See Her Soar first, she actually started her career soaring with British Airways, then she taught my two oldest boys in preschool—so I have much, much love for how she helped raise my tiny humans—and now she is a real estate agent with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services where she pours just as much love into her clients as she did her students. Let’s get to know more about Sylvia!
1. Tell us in a few sentences what you do. And why you do it.
I will start with the why! I love helping people and it brings joy to both of us. It will be my pleasure to go on the journey together when it comes to buying or selling your house.
2. What is your contact info (that you want shared) please include any active social handles, websites etc.
I’m excited to have a a condo listing in East Lake Woodlands going live today with an open house on Sunday, 3/7. Ready for this? The street address is SYLVIA PLACE…for real! It will be on FB, Instagram, LinkedIn and planning live virtual.
3. When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is…
Thank the lord and pray for wisdom.
4. My best business advice is….
Kindness and treat people like family.
5. My professional goal for 2021 is…
To help as many people as possible find their dream home. Volunteer and support our community.
6. Supporting women in business is now more critical than ever. How can our community best support you?
I’m so excited for See Her Soar and love the concept. I relate to it very much as my first job was with British Airways overseas which allowed me to travel the world. When you have a goal you set up a plan just like a plane ride to take you to your destination. I feel just like on a plane you deal with all kinds of people, and businesses are all working toward achieving their goals. That’s what you are doing here, and we are all going on the journey together.
